Like cats? Like to dance?

Cat Dance! brings together Josh Malerman’s band, The High Strung, and Ohio Wild, along with MC Chairman Meow to raise much-needed cash for the Ferndale Cat Shelter’s essential work caring for stray and abandoned cats. The beautiful original poster art is by Rick Lieder.

I saw that good work right on my own block with a stray teenage mom cat and her litter of five, whom FCS rescued within hours of being called. And they do this day in and day out. Times are awful right now in the US, in the world, and whatever good we can do, we should get busy and get done. If you’re contiguous to Detroit, come and dance with us!

UPDATE: Fun was hand, cash was raised, and Cat Dance! was a total success.
